Goodness I wish reblogging in order to make a comment on iPhone were not an endeavor filled with poo.

“Best” trick for adding a comment to the end of a long post:

  • Reblog
  • Tap text view
  • “Select All”
  • Copy
  • If necessary “Select All” again
  • Paste

The pasted text replaces the selected text, which is exactly the same. Now your cursor is at the end of the text, no matter how long it is. Only works on 3.0 because of the copy-and-paste, obviously.

Still sucks, though.

You can scroll a textarea field contents up and down by using two finger scrolling on the textarea. This won’t scroll the page nor zoom out, it’ll just scroll the content inside the textarea.

This allows you to just scroll straight to the empty <p></p> that Tumblr adds at the end. Tap in there and start typing away. It’s a lot easier :)

Holy crap! Faruk FTMFW!
