A Dream Like Mine

  1. ☛ Phoenix FearCON 5 International Independent Horror Film Fest Kickstarter

Who loves horror? Who loves independent film festivals? Who loves helping out awesome people from the internet?

If you answered yes to all three questions, I’ve got a Kickstarter for you. Phoenix FearCON is turning to crowd sourcing to help fund their upcoming horror film festival this October. They’ve got a lot of awesome things planned- a zombie runway fashion show, panel discussions, contests to show off your best screenplay or your best scream, and the US premiere of Inbred, a UK black comedy. Also, possibly zombie midget wrestlers? It’s in the works.

Plus the people behind FearCON are good folks, enthusiastic about the movies and what they’re doing, so by chipping in, you’re helping out the local horror scene in Arizona. It’s kind of been a rough year for the nerd circuit in Phoenix, with Atomic Comics, Evermore Nevermore, and The Royale closing down, so it’d be great to see some support for a local festival run by awesome people. So however much you can chip in, it’d be great. Thanks!
