A Dream Like Mine

  1. Is it possible to get too many Lego sets for Christmas? I was actually worried about that. Silly me! Probably 75% of the boy’s gifts from me were Lego, and I was worried he’d be disappointed by that. Ha ha ha ha! Silly daddy. He was pretty pleased with his haul.

    Times like this, I’m glad his mom and I have kept things civil. He got to come over and open his presents and stay for an hour or so. We built a small Lego set, and the Halo Mega Bloks drop pod, and played Star Wars Angry Birds Jenga.

    Now he’s off to various events with his mom’s side of the family. It’s her year this year. I was disappointed about that until I came down with a case of the winter crud. Now me and my throat full of knife blades and lungs full of something that died will just curl up and try to fight off the microbes. 

    My dear friends Nita and Dan and their son Sean got me a Firefly T-shirt. I am well pleased. I tried to post a picture earlier, but the Tumblr iPad app ate it. :(

    All in all, a good Christmas.
