  5. Analyzing dislike: Enhancing Star Wars

    For all of you Star Wars fans that hate the add-ons and changes made to the original films, I have an interesting take on it that might help you cope. In around 10 years or so, Lucas will likely re-release The Phantom Menace in 3-D with added effects and scenes. While you complain about things like a different Anakin Skywalker ghost added to the end of ROTJ (which makes no sense because Luke never met that Anakin) this generation will have to complain about an updated Jar-Jar Binks. Think about that. You have it easy. Imagine complaining that the old Jar-Jar was better. That will be this generations Vietnam.
